Last night my friends and I stopped by Green Drinks at Shades Natural Color in Beverly Hills. I was excited to go there because I've been meaning to check out the eco-vegan salon for a long time. It's a really neat place and I look forward to going in and trying out their services at some point.
I had an incredible time at the Y.O.G.A. for Youth: Gala Fundraiser, which "I AM THE DREAM" campaign benefitted at-risk children throughout the United States. It was my first time visiting the Marrakesh House, and it was wonderful. The event had a great turnout and was attended by some amazing people; there was such a strong, loving energy there. The night was topped off with some delicious food, samples from various vendors, and several inspiring performances.
Last year at Eco Gift 2008, I met Scotty Claus of The Living Christmas Tree Co, and I fell in love with his company, which rents live Christmas Trees in the Los Angeles area. Instead of buying a cut tree and throwing it out, rent a living tree for a few weeks! (I wish there was a company like this in Massachusetts for my family to rent.)
Here's my short video with Scotty from last year.
Had a delicious meal at the new Veggie Grill location in West Hollywood with Christy of Viva la Greens: Chickin' Caesar Wrap, All Hail Kale salad, Sweetheart Fries, Bean Me Up Chili, peach iced tea and lemonade, carrot cake, and chocolate pudding.
