Giveaway: Natural Calm Watermelon Flavor

I've been using the Natural Calm magnesium supplement for several years. It's really helpful for relaxing during bedtime and helping me sleep. It also aids digestion and muscular stress (such as jaw clenching). I've tried several flavors of Natural Calm and my favorite by far is their seasonal Watermelon flavor. It tastes like the bubblegum I used to chew as a kid, or Jolly Ranchers (remember those?!) Natural Vitality sent me samples of my favorite flavor and I didn't want you to miss out, so I'm doing a giveaway!

Win $100 Worth of Organic, Vegan Products

Earlier this year I made a video about a store called Grocery Outlet. In order to film it, I had to travel outside of Los Angeles because there wasn't a location near my home. It was well worth the trip, but it was a bit of a tease because I wished I didn't have to drive hours to shop there. Fortunately, times have changed. I am thrilled to say that there are now 15 stores opening in the LA area! To celebrate, I filmed a video in their newest location in Costa Mesa and patterned with Grocery Outlet to do a giveaway for a $100 gift card.

Ever since I researched and wrote the "Heathy, Organic Vegan on a Budget" ebook I am always on the hunt for bargains on healthy food. It brings me so much joy to buy items on sale and discover new places to get deals. One day someone online mentioned a store that I had never heard of called Grocery Outlet. At the time I happened to be near a location so I convinced a friend to check it out with me. I wish I could remember who it was who recommended this market because I want to give them a hug. Thanks to their impressive selection of affordable organic, vegan food, Grocery Outlet has become one of my favorite stores.

Discount on Eco-Vegan Bags by Canopy Verde

Looking for a handbag that looks stylish without leather, is eco-friendly and works with your jam-packed lifestyle? I was in same boat a few months ago. Although I had a few great vegan purses I didn't have one that went with every outfit (casual and dressy) and could hold all of my belongings (wallet, phone, keys, iPad, water bottle, AND a few groceries). Until I received a beautiful bag from Canopy Verde. I'm now the proud owner of a beautiful purple and grey handbag made from organic cotton and faux leather, and it is so versatile that I use it every single day. Now you have an opportunity to buy one of your own at 15% off!

CLOSED Giveaway: 2 Bamboo Toothbrushes

Congrats to Goldie, Stephany, Miranda, Savannah and Alyssa!

Cutting back on plastic is one of the best ways to be eco-friendly, yet it's hard for people to do since so many of the products in our lives are made from it. Fortunately there are some companies making it easier on us, like Brush With Bamboo. The friendly team behind this brand makes fantastic toothbrushes with biodegradable bamboo handles and BPA-free soft bristles, which are sold in compostable packaging. Since these are always a big hit when I mention them on Facebook I thought a giveaway was in order!

Music is one of the finer things in life - it is rare that I make it through a day without listening to a few songs at home. I love using my iPhone and iPad for this, as they're portable and faster to navigate than my computer. One downside of mobile devices is the low audio levels, which leave a lot to be desired and ruin the mood when you want to bump up the jams. This is why I was thrilled to be introduced to the Bamboo Amplifier from Loudbasstard - this neat looking contraption boosts the sound of any mobile device without electricity or batteries! Sound like something you'd like to play around with? Enter to win one below, along with a chance at a stand for your mobile device! Congrats to the winners of this contest!

Do you find yourself dining out too often because you don't know how to make exciting food at home? I can relate. Almost every day I question whether to go to a restaurant or a grocery store for pre-made food, or wrangle up ingredients in my kitchen and make a meal from scratch. I know the latter is most cost effective, likely healthier, and more sustainable than eating out, but sometimes I'm just lazy! Time gets in the way, and on busy days I dread how long a good meal takes to make (and clean up). Plus, I often crave specific flavors from a chef-made meal that I'm not sure how to reproduce at home. It's for all these reasons that I decided to take an online cooking class, and since I suspect you're in the same boat.
