Had lunch at Interim Cafe (once called Newsroom) in Santa Monica. I haven't been there for a while, but last time I really enjoyed their vegan Chocolate Salvation soft serve. Unfortunately it wasn't as good as I remembered - maybe today was a bad batch.
For lunch my friend Nik and I shared the split pea soup, the vegan spinach quesadilla, and the vegan pot roast with mashed potatoes. The soup and the quesadilla were excellent, but the pot roast was mediocre.
