I've decided I'm going to eat Raw for Thanksgiving, but I'm not exactly sure how I'm going to do it.
Last night I went to RAWvolution and they have a bunch of a-la-carte Thanksgiving items, or you can buy it all for $49.50.
- Coconut Turkey Jerky $10
- "Mashed Potatoes" $8.50
- Walnut Stuffing $8.50
- Cranberry Sauce $8.50
- Mushroom Gravy $8.50
- Kale $5.50
- Pumpkin Pie $7.25
Juliano's is also doing a meal, for $75. As much as I love that place, that is way too expensive for me!
I have the RAWvolution recipe book (highly recommend it) so I think I'm going to make some things out of that, and maybe pick up a few items from their store.
I will probably make the "Ruby Tuesday Borscht" (beets, carrots, celery, lemon, & garlic) and/or the "Green River Cucumber-Watercress Soup" (cucumber, lemon, watercress, & garlic); and the Mashed "Potatoes" (cauliflower, macadamia nuts, & garlic).
