The secret is: it's easy and so simple.
I've tried so many different things over the years to stay trim, and few worked long term. Before I went vegan I tried all the usual tactics: SlimFast, exercise routines in beauty magazines, eating less, appetite control pills - the list goes on well past what I can remember. When I went vegan I lost a noticeable amount of weight and didn't gain it back, so I thought that was the answer and I could eat whatever I wanted as long as it didn't contain animal products.
Years later I'm still at a decent weight, but I have a few extra pounds that I'd like to get rid of. And no wonder - I've been eating greasy, carby, sugary foods thinking they were healthy because they were vegan. This is a big misconception - vegan junk food is still junk food.
