I like to keep a jar of organic matcha powder at home to make my own lattes, and sometimes I get creative and put it into desserts. I recently saw a matcha smoothie on a menu at a macrobiotic restaurant and felt inspired to try my hand at it at home, and boy did it turn out well! Plus, it cost just over $3 to make a large serving, which would run at least $5...probably closer to $7, at an organic cafe.

Ingredients (use organic whenever possible):
- non-dairy milk*: 12 oz
- matcha green tea powder: 1/2 - 1 Tbsp (or to taste)
- mango**: 1/2 (about 1/2 cup)
- blueberries, frozen: 1/2 cup
Blend baby blend!
Blend for about 30-40 seconds. Using a high-speed blender like a Blendtec is useful, though certainly not necessary - any blender will get the job done!
